Reflection

       Grading is about to end again and there are so many things that happened. This period is period is more challenging than the first grading. In this grading also I experience and learned a lot in our every class. If in the first grading I have faced a lot of trial same as this grading period and I can’t imagine how I face that kind of trials of mine.  I have learned that "time is so precious and whatever had happened in the past will never come back again". Because time is very important so don’t waste time as they say “time is gold”.

Modern heroes

   These days, only few become a hero. Because these days, there are no more heroic deeds that are being done by people. They only think of themselves. We only think of ourselves. WE only think on how a certain thing will benefit us on how or what will we gain on that thing. These days I consider our parents as out very own heroes. Because without parents, there are no heroes. Heroes are made not born. By who? By the one who will influence that future hero.   I have also my own heroes: m modern heroes. The heroes I am referring to sacrificed a lot no for our country but for us their family. They always do everything in order to make us happy.

        “MY TEACHER MY HERO” .Teachers are the ones who teaches us how to write like journalists. Read and speak like lawyers, broadcasters and speakers. Count and measure like accountants and engineers. Analyze and reason out like philosophers. Without them there are no PROs.“A teacher is like a candle that melts to give light to other people.” Teachers spend their lives in opening the door if knowledge and wisdom to their students. Without them, there would be no lawyers, doctors and other professionals. There would also be no successful and disciplined people in the world. She taught me a lot of things. She made me realize that I should accept defeats and face the new battles of life. She made me realize that learning is not only inside the four walls of our classroom, I also have to go out and discover new things. She also told me that I must know my strengths and weaknesses so that I can seek some self-improvements.

“UPHOLDING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY FOR COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCY”.

                  UPHOLDING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY FOR COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCY”. In connection to this, the English Club conducts different activities like essay writing, slogan-making, smart talk, spelling bee and others using the English language. This enhance our skills on the language. This is also one way of showing what we know about this. English proficiency is very important. Let us practice speaking in English because this is the language being used in almost all parts of the world. In order for us to understand each other, we must practice speaking in English.

"Tatag ng Filipino, Lakas ng PagkaFilipino"

            Manuel L. Quezon is known to be as the "Father of the Philippine Language". Jose P. Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines once said "Ang taong hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wikaay higit pa ang amoy sa malansang isda." That is why every Filipnos know their mother tongue.Many heroes sacrificed their lives to make the Philippines free fron the Spaniards, so that is why Filipinos stand, fight and die for their language and also for their country. On the other hand, if we talk to each other using the language, it would be better because we will certainly understand each other.  As a result, the flow of communication would become more effective.  Of course, if there is understanding, there is unity and if there is unity, there is also progress in our country. Aside from having a good flow of communication, we are also showing our love for our country through this.  The significance of having a common language is having a strong bond with each other.  Let us be proud that we are Filipino and Filipino language is our symbol.

MY OPINION 

          President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his speech on July 23, 2012.  State of the nation address is a yearly duty of the president which he delivers his accomplishments. President Benigno Simeon Aquino III  has not delivered his State of the Nation Address (SONA) as of this writing and I don’t know what his SONA contains. I am guessing there will be no paper boats, human props and flowery rhetoric. I am expecting it will be mainly in Filipino with some English thrown in, well-substantiated yet poignant, witty yet direct to the point. I am assuming it will last for around an hour but with PNoy’s fast-clipped speaking style, it won’t seem long with no boring moments. I am imagining PNoy will mince no words and everyone listening will realize he means what he says and he says what he means.

“Pagkain Ng Gulay Ugaliin Araw-araw Itong Ihain”

                                   
                 

                      Every July we are celebrating the nutrition month.  These years theme is "Pagkain gulay ugaliin arww-araw itong ihaiin"
                       Vegetables, like fruits, are low in fat but contain good amounts of vitamins and minerals. All the Green-Yellow-orange vegetables are rich sources of calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, beta-carotene, vitamin B-complex, vitamin-C, vitamin A, and vitamin K.As in fruits, vegetables are also home for many antioxidants that; firstly, help body protect from oxidant stress, diseases and cancers, and secondly, help body develop capacity to fight against these by boosting immunity.     
                        Health is very important because our health is our health.  Eat more vegetable for longer and more active lifestyle.

             Greetings of peace!

             With 2 years on the position, what have you achieved? You keep on promising a “BETTER FUTURE” to your constituents but where is it? It would take some time for changes to take effect, as what the saying goes; but how long these hungry and homeless people have to wait before they could see these changes?                    

         But still you have remaining years to improve and enforce your program to the people of the Philippines.
